Meals for One
- Spinach and cheese toastie: this meal costs less than $3. First, grab 2 slices of wholegrain bread (high in fibre which benefits our digestive health). Place a handful of spinach leaves and a slice of light tasty or cheddar cheese between the slices. Toast in a sandwich maker or fry pan over low heat until the bread is golden, and the cheese is melted.
- Tuna & corn baked potato: this meal costs less than $5. First start by baking the potato in a 200°C oven for 40 minutes or until soft in the centre. Once cooked, top the potato with a can of tuna, a can of corn kernels and some salt and pepper to taste.
